Ron Paul endorses Republican candidate for Florida Governor Bob White

Melbourne, Fla – Candidate for Florida Governor, Bob White received the endorsement of Ron Paul, a ten-term congressman and well-known defender of constitutional liberties during his time in elected office. He has proven to be one of the most influential political leaders of his time. White is one of 12 Republicans who has filed to run in the August 2018 primary; however, we will not know who will be on the ballot until June 22, 2018, when qualification for the primary ballot ends.

“I never back down from a liberty fight. I stood up to others when liberty’s cause was being challenged. And now it’s time to pass liberty’s fight to a new generation of leaders and fighters. Bob White is one of those fighters”, Ron Paul said in his endorsement.

“Bob has proven his resolve to fight for and defend the Constitutions of the United States and Florida. With anti-liberty forces fighting harder than ever in every corner of government, we need leaders unafraid to stand up for our freedom. I believe Bob is someone who will.  I am very pleased to give him my full support and endorsement to lead as Florida’s next governor. I call on all like-minded patriots who love the Constitution to get behind Bob and help him win this important race.”

Bob White enthusiastically accepted this endorsement, saying, “Dr. Ron Paul is ourbobwhite-300x194 generation’s founding father. It is an extraordinary honor to receive the endorsement of liberty’s modern-day revolutionary, Ron Paul. I resolve to do everything in my power to live up to the confidence he has placed in me as Florida’s Governor.”

White grew up in Polk County, in the heart of the Florida citrus industry. As a teenager, he earned spending money picking fruit, pruning trees, and moving irrigation pipe before and after school. As a fourth generation Floridian, some of his fondest childhood memories are of family reunions on the shores of Silver Lake, near Palatka, or at his grandparent’s home in Okeechobee.

White believes the people of Florida have lost their voice, as it has been drowned out by the special interests that pack the halls in Tallahassee. Bob is running for governor of the state of Florida to change that environment and give the government back to the people.
