League of Women Voters provides complete candidate information for voters

WASHINGTON, DC –- As Americans prepare for Election Day, the League of Women Voters is proud to provide more voter-friendly information than any other election source through VOTE411.org.

The nonpartisan website is a “one-stop-shop” for all election-related material. Voters can league-of-women-votersconfirm their polling location, check if ID is required, and see what their personal ballot will look like.

On Tuesday millions of Americans will head to the polls to stand up for what they believe in,” said Chris Carson, president of the League of Women Voters of the United States. “Throughout this year the League has worked tirelessly to make voting accessible and provide accurate and updated information to voters on our election tool, VOTE411.org.”

The League urges all eligible voters to make a voting plan in advance and to exercise their right to vote.

VOTE411.org makes everything easier.

By entering your home address on VOTE411.org, voters can learn about offices and ballot questions they will be voting on, and compare candidate responses to League questions.

“When you vote, you are taking a stand on the issues that matter most to you,” said Carson, “These elections are about our jobs, our health, our communities, our security and our future.”

If you see any problems at the polls, report them to Election Protection at 866-OUR-VOTE, and to your local officials.

Voters should know they can NOT vote by text message. All voters must complete a ballot either in person or by mail. Voters can check VOTE411.org for more details about returning mail-in ballots.
