Ed Asner will moderate the Open CCSD Candidates Forum

Cambria, California —Emmy Award Winning Actor, Ed Asner, will be co-moderating a non-partisan open forum hosted by The Free and Equal Election Foundation and Founder Christina Tobin. The goal is to facilitate honest conversation and constructive dialog and all CCSD candidates up for election are invited. Please see our recent coverage in The Tribune of this event. The event will occur tomorrow at 6 p.m. Pacific at the Peacock Conference Room, at the Cambria Pines Lodge, 2905 Burton Dr. in Cambria.

The purpose of The Free and Equal Elections Foundation is and has always been to encourage More Voices and More Choices and to support citizens in getting involved in their local politics. We encourage everyone to attend the educational Forum and find out what the different candidates stand for and to get involved with the candidate of your choice.

Currently, 6 candidates are confirmed: Harry Farmer, Tom Kirkey, Dewayne Lee, Jeff Walters, Steve Kniffen (Write-In Candidate), and incumbent, Amanda Rice. Incumbents Gail Robinette and Greg Sanders have not RSVP’d as of today.

Open to the public. The Candidates Forum will be streamed live at Free and Equal Elections Facebook page which has an audience of almost 250,000 likes and a weekly reach from seven hundred thousand to over twenty million.
