Earl Stewart Toyota has been named Business of the Year by the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. The award will be presented at the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce Annual Leadership Awards Dinner at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 21 at PGA National Resort & Spa.
Stewart comes from a family that has been in the automotive business in Palm Beach County since 1937. He joined his father and older brother in business with Stewart Automotive Group in 1968. In 1975, the company secured a Toyota franchise, now known as Earl Stewart Toyota of North Palm Beach. It is one of the most successful Toyota dealerships in the U.S., being the largest volume dealership for any make between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando. He is a five-time winner of Toyota’s President’s Cabinet award, placing him in the top 12 among 1,277 Toyota dealerships in the U.S., based on sales and customer satisfaction.
President & CEO of the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce Beth Kigel said, “We are proud to honor Earl Stewart Toyota as a business that stands out in Northern Palm Beach County. The Stewart Family needs to be recognized for building such a successful business that embraces our community.”
Stewart said he is “humbled and appreciative to be the recipient of this award and happy to share this honor with my family and employees at Earl Stewart Toyota.”
Stewart attributes his dealership’s success to his policy of transparency and honesty with his customers, eliminating the dealer fee on all transactions, providing instant access to the owner via the legendary “red phones” throughout the dealership connecting directly to his cell phone and to his one price sales policy, providing one low price on all vehicles eliminating haggling when buying a new or used vehicle.
