The power is in the plants!  Plants are a rich source of nutrients, fiber, and vitamins & minerals.  Learn how to prepare simple and healthy meals that are sure to satisfy.

5% Day benefiting Bright Futures Academy EDU-Garden, Wednesday, January 14, 8am to 10pm

Shop the Whole Foods store on January 14 and 5% of our net sales will be donated to the Bright Futures Academy EDU-Garden.  Bright Futures Academy Charter School (BFA) is a public school located in Northern Palm Beach County, serving students in grades K-8, on three different campuses located in North Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.  In 2010, BFA implemented a hands-on garden program to further engage students in the learning process.  Located on the Palm Beach Gardens Campus, the “EDU-Garden” is a part of a campus wide research project.  The learning approach for this project is “student directed, teacher facilitated” and requires each and every student to take ownership of their education.  The EDU-Garden spans over 10,000 square feet and includes an outdoor cooking space, a mist house, and aqua culture system!
