Insurance expert, Greg Roe has accepted Adrian Wyllie‘s invitation to run as Lieutenant Governor on the Libertarian ticket this November. Roe is an insurance professional with more than 30 years in the industry. He brings an important expertise to the campaign on an issue that affects all Floridians.
A small businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Roe, 58, was born in Princeton, NJ and grew up in Tampa. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he has been married to his wife, Julann, for 17 years. They have two children living at home, Luke, 14 and Becca, 10. Greg also has 4 adult children and eight grandchildren.
Yesterday, August 13, 2014, Wyllie said, “I’m extremely pleased that my friend and colleague Greg Roe has accepted my nomination for Lt. Governor of Florida. He brings an additional depth of knowledge and experience to the campaign, especially with the daunting challenges facing us in the insurance sector. Greg is an honorable man who will unwaveringly defend Floridians’ economic freedom and individual liberty.”
Roe will join Wyllie as he continues his Tampa/St. Petersburg leg of the craft brewery tour at Barley Mow in Largo, Wednesday and Sea Dog Brewing in Clearwater on Thursday. Both events begin at 7pm and are open to the public.
Wyllie will face Rick Scott and the winner of the Democratic Party primary (Charlie Crist or Nan Rich) in the November, 2014 General Election in his bid to be Florida’s next governor.
